I play D&D, am I a geek?

I play D&D, does that make me a bad person? Does anyone else here still play. I'm not the stereoypical gaming geek. I am an average, normal, regular bathing guy, but I do enjoy a good RPG session. I'm somewhat hesitant to share my hobby with people because of the stigma attached to it. People hear D&D and they immediately conjure up images of greasy-haired, pimply-faced social misfits sitting in a circle rolling dice. That's not me. I have a non-gaming woman, I have a social life, and I love the game. What's wrong with that? Oh yeah, I'm also an avid Magic:The Gathering player.

Honestly, I have never played D&D. I've always wanted to, I did used to play magic The Gathering (untill my cards were stolen). I' thinking maybe somehow, we do a ronfez.net D&D club thing. With the twisted epopel of the board, a game like that ould be interesting.

It would be very cool to get a game going, the only problem I see is distance. Everyone is so spread out, it would be tough to meet regularly, and nothing kills an adventure quicker than no-shows and cancellations. That being said, it's still worth a shot. I would love to play with you freaks.

i used to play magic: the gathering, but i stopped cause i'd always play wrong. i should read the directions one day. but my brother plays, so i gave him all my cards, which were mostly all blue because blue kicks ass.

i'd love to play d&d. i never have, but i wanna learn. i have played some online role playing games, but i guess its a lot different. anyone willing to teach me?

whistles nonchalantly. Sadly, I do have a cloak in my closet. But I don't where it anymore, not out anyway. And technically speaking wizards don't really wear cloaks, their attire usually consists of robes. I mean they would wear a cloak if they were traveling and it was cold or something, but for just lazing around the old magical tower, robes are fine. Not helping my case am I?
