The war movie thread seemed pretty popular, so why not rip it off.

My favorite western f all time is The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. If there is anybody out there that hasn't seen that movie, rent it now. Better yet, buy the DVD. The final stand off is what made me want to make movies.

Coming in a close second is A Fist Full of Dollars. The original japanese movie it was based on (Yojimbo) WAS better, though. Walter Hill also remade Yojimbo as LAst Man Standing with Bruce Willis, one of Hilld better efforts as of late, IMO.

But Hill's crowning achievement is and will always be The Warriors.

CAN YOU DIG IT!!!???

Anything by Sergio Leone.
Anything with Clint or The Duke. And countless others.
I just watched "Barbarosa" the other night..what a great film. Gary Busey was a great actor before the brain damage.
