First off lemme say thank you RonFez.net for continually supporting the DC fans, even though we cant call in and contribute our warped humour. <P>
Now about the petition. Mojo and I drew this up to help organize a way to bring back ron and fez. We do ask for the show live, but we ask for it on tape delay as well. <P>
Now some quick rules; <P>
1. Everyone post, Mods, please try and get as many members to help us out. <P>
2. You are all now from DC this is mainly to help us, but were small in numbers, just say your from DC. <P>
3. Do not say anything about Opie and Anthony. We all love them, but due to thier tie in's with R+F, it could hurt us. <P>
4. Feel good, because your sticking up for the little guys here in DC. <P>

The petition is a nice idea, but there are several problems with it. First off, it is addressed to Ken Stevens and Jeremy Coleman, both of whom are currently suspended and will likely be fired. <P>
Secondly, regardless of the fact that we like Ron and Fez, the Sports Junkies show is the highest rated show on WJFK. The only chance we really have is WJFK putting Ron and Fez on in Middays after R and F are fired by WNEW and Don and Mike move back to afternoons. <P>

But I'm a DC< northern va fan of ron and fez, have been ever since they started on WJFK LATE NIGHTS From 11 till 3 am, and the weekends.. it's like non stop Ron and fez on the weekends and overnight get back to back shows. so awesome.. but i do feel really sad. I feel like i lost my two best friends. I don't mind if we get them tape delay as long as we get them.. Ron and Fez showed me what good radio can be... Okay I"m in DC i don't really care about losing O n A . im' sorry i know you NY guys love them, hey thats cool, but for some back woods hick.. O n A comedy is above my head.. it's very high brow comedy.. I mean you got to be really smart and with it to get those jokes.. I still don't get a lot of it, but IM' not an O n A hater.. they have made me laugh when i tuned them in..... but i'm not going to cry they're gone, but i will cry like a little girl because of losing Ron and Fez.. but i will do what i can to get them back, i guess we should just flood WJFK with calls, saying put Ron and Fez back on.. right now it's all Don and Mike and the sports junkies.. ugh what WJFK should do is move junkies to afternoon and Ron and fez to nights.. to me sounds like a pretty dam good line up..

Hello Everybody, I just want to say I am hear to support the DC area listeners. I am in VA, and WJFK has done a terrible job to promote Ron and Fez. I signed the petition, and got some of my friends to sign it too. I hope this helps, Ron and Fez needs to be heard in DC.

Guys Ron and Fez arent on WJFK because they talk about O&A and have callers who do the same. Infinity and JFK and whoever else do not want to give free air time to a pair that have been suspended/fired/contract terminated, and although horrible if you want to listen to R&F it is smart froma business standpoint. Would you want someone fired from your work to show up every day and be talked about everyday, probably not because it is bad for business and a disturbance in the work place. Once the calls start slowing down about O&A im sure they will be back on the air.
And the petition while well thought out and full of good intentions will really do no good. The reason like you guys said, they dont get any advertising here what makes you think a petition signed by even 200 people will do any good. Here in D.C. we get them on tape delay at the time of 11 pm till 3 am. Obviously WJFK does not care about them, and the paltry listening audience we bring them at that time slot. Just let the dust settle and we will get them back here.
And remember the best way to make a point in any letter or communication is to be well thought out and devoid of personal attacks and foul langauge

I have heard Ron andFez promos on JFKbefore. They are usually on weekend nights during "best of's". So I have heard them before. Granted they could do alot more.....

I also heard an episode of D&M when Don was defending his actions against a R&F supporter. The caller claimed JFK did not support R&F. Don stated that pushing the R&F show was one of the things he tried to do when he was Program Director. Don stated that he was the one who go the R&F promos created and played. He even played one for that caller. That was back on Sept 19th. I have also heard D&M say that R&F was the only show they liked and respected in NYC. So who knows what will come out of all this.... I do know that jfk is and have given R&F some promotion.

They normally are on at 11:20 to 11:25pm. They let the junkies go to 11pm and then play all of the commercials after 11pm. about 20 minutes worth.
