type screwed up in my posts

whenever I type something in a
post, the type breaks at the size
of the window I'm typing in. This
makes the type look like this,
instead of going across the entire
page. Does anyone know what
causes this? Also it causes my sig
not to show up because the url is
too long. Thanks
