Ok folks, grab a chair and listen to my teachings...
Newly Realeased for the Playstation 2, a video game cross-over from the classic The Thing.
To sum it up really quick, this game rocks. If the thing were a gigantic talking penis, itd be even better, but thanks to our friends at the FCC, thatll never happen.
Alright, now the review, or how about a quick review of my first thirty minutes with the game.
3:00 PM : Return home from purchasing The Thing. After reading reviews that were favorable i decided to get it. Although the clerk boy at our Rival KB in DC told me he thought it sucked. Of course this is the kid that we caught J-Oing in our branches Bathroom, so if anything hes a lying ratass fucker, go drink your bottle of semen fag.
3:10 after a quick read of the controls, im ready to lock and load. The game starts, and a short cinema comes up, its eerie and sets the mood perfectly. The blood stained walls and floor add to the effect and the panicy feel of the game helps.
3:12 My team and I walk into a room, its covered in blood. My engineer fixes the lights, the light come on and my medic begins to curse. "HOLY SHIT!!" I look over, a dead body, mutalated. He pisses his pants, and i get a chuckle, only to realize that im gonna be fucked if i take these signs for shits and giggles. Your team can get freaked out and turn on you, and this guy was going crazy. I tried to calm him down, but then he exploded and began screaming and saying i was the thing. I took him down, but my other teammates shot me......bad move.
3:17 Ok, so i restarted and im past where i was. This game fucking rocks. I found this guy with a flamethrower. Paranoid he asks me to take a blood test to prove im not the thing, i do so, and now him and his flamethrower are on my side. You can only kill mature things with fire, so you shoot em down, then burn em. Let the mother fuckers burn, burn mother fuckers...
3:25 almost time for work, im loving this, the paranoid antics of my team and player make this awesome. The voice acting is fantastic and the blood and gore is gratuatious and thats how i like it, if you cant handle it, dont complain to me.
3:30 time to goto work, ill be back around 11 to play again, the fun comes next.....
People, this game is very cool, i reccomend it for everyone and if your really into Survival Horror this blows away Resident Evil. I escpically like the team system with all the trust stuff. The game almost outdoes Silent Hill 2, but im not far enough into it to decide that. Check it out, I hope you enjoy it as much as i am.
