I always say "...for president" at the end when I talk about somebody I like. Or, that if that person ran for president, he/she would win.

I started saying "Fez for Prez" a long time ago and it kinda morphed.

Shortly after I claimed the screen name and started posting, somebody here made fun of it and said that it sounded like a brand of toothpaste. It was too late though. The damage was done. I already had 13 posts under my belt and I didn't wanna start over with a new name.

The original name was Spotcheck Billy from Little Feat's "Fatman in the Bathroom" and it just kinda morphed into Spot.

Mine is a DC comic book character. I remember buying a Batman
comic book when I was a kid and The Question was fighting alongside
him. I was fascinated by the faceless look of The Question, and
the fact that his "costume" was a three piece suit, hat, and overcoat.

I've been using the name on various message boards for quite some time now.

My board name is a no-brainer. I've always been a Wonder Woman fan. Love the show, own the shows on dvd, always dressed like her on halloween when I was younger. I've just loved everything about that character. Wonder Woman just kicks ass in my book.

Years ago when I first got onto this internet thingie, I wanted a yahoo mail account. Of course I couldn't get the one I wanted with my name, or my second choice an initial and a name or my third, or forth choice etc . So I finally decided to take their lame suggestion of a name richg0404. Mine was inadvertently given to me by a dimwit that I work with. When the first Spiderman came out he told me that he was buying his kid the "DocGoblin" figure. I guess he combined Doc Ock and Green Goblin somehow. At any rate that became my gaming and Message board name ever since.

Mine was originally given to me by my pals in the US Army Infantry. My first duty station, I was standing in my boxers on the fire escape, Barvarian Fest Mug in hand, screaming something at the people below. Something like ...NERDS..NERDS..NERDS. And it stuck. Then when I went to WJFK years later, Dubs says.."So what do we call you?" And Ogre was re-born. Albeit, a kinder, gentler, more sober Ogre. But its still me deep down to my BVDs.

SmoothLarry - acutaly pronounced "Smoov" is an old high shcool nick name. Larry is nowhere in my real name.

I went to the Job Services office to apply for a job with UPS. It was the kind of place where most of the applicants were unemployed, low-lifes, schwoogies, etc. Not a lot of upper-middle class white high school kids rolling through there......

As I filled out the App. I looked down on the table and saw written there "SMOOTH LARRY WAS HERE". It tickled me good for some reason, I laughed about it all day because it dawned on me that who ever wrote that was probably serious. Acutally thought they were smooth, actually named Larry.

The next day at lunch with my crowd, I got cracked up about it again and wrote in on the table in the cafeteria. I retold the story and the name stuck. In certain circles, almost 20 years later, I'm still known as Smooth.......

Waaaay back in 2002, Opie and Anthony were busting Lil' Jimmy Norton's balls about decorating and furnishing his then-new apt. When the subject turned to his bedroom, Jimmy started talking about the dust covers around the bed's boxspring (called a Duvet). Ant quickly referred to Jimmy as "Jimmy Duvet" and it just stuck in my stupid head.

Led37zep just told a great story about how his boardname came about.
Some of your names are obvious (mikeyboy, Kathleen From The Bronx, ShowerBench), some not so much (SinA, Hottub, Kevin). How did you come up with your board name?
I'll start, it's obvious it's a reference from Smokey and the Bandit, but I didn't think of it for a name until watching moochcassidy's Back in Black dirty cops video. Thanks Mooch.

well, its time to tell!
i was watching "Win Ben Stein's Money" and one of the contestant's name was Wampus and i thought that was weird - it']s some native american name for 'man of love' or something stupid.
and Crandle, i just thought it fit with Crandle. i used to think it was funny when some had a weird first name and a normal last name like Jiao Tian Smith. (laughing on the inside)
anyway, that's how i got my name. and i use it for everything - for any site that is my username

mine is my stock answer when freinds and loved ones accuse me of having a gambling problem.

this has basically become my stock answer to any call-out on any personality defect i currently manifest. "ron, you smoke too much of that", "ron, you drink too much", etc.
have to say, i wish i had a more user-freindly call in name. i can't imagine telling pitsy that betidont wants to ask earl if he has molested a child yet. something like "frank" from ronfez.net sounds more radio freindly.
p.s. when i saw this thread i thought, 'holy shit, pantera is posting again' then i saw the date of his post. missing pantera posts:down:

Way back in high school my coach used to have huge boxes of Jujubees for the games since he couldn't chew tobacco. He would spit rainbow colors and when he went out to argue with an umpire, the Jujubees would come flying out of his mouth and stick to the umpire.
That's the story behind Jujubees but I'm not really sure why I picked it for my board name.
Oh, and the 2 is because I screwed up the first time I tried to register.

Weird. I always thought that CampoNJ had changed his name to Snacks. Did Snacks ever have a different board name?
BTW... I answered this a long time ago, but here it goes again. Mine is not from some cartoon character. I've never heard of that Papa Bear. My oldest son was called Bear when he was a baby. I'm his Papa. It's a name I've had for 17 years.

Freakshow
05-28-2008, 12:12 PM
I said it before and i'll say it again. I named myself after my favorite song about dead hookers:
Kicking it down on filthy streets no money left to spend
Still sickened by the night before my brain is on the mend
Way up ahead I see a crowd and flashing blue red lights
I run to see the carnage of some hooker who's been knifed
It's just a freak show
Never know what's goin' on just happy to exist
Drunk faces on the subway car, shoe rotting in their piss
A waste of space, a waste of time, a waste of energy
I'm locked inside the circus filled with thousand casualties
It's just a freak show
Sitting disco pumped and fueled with whores in skin-tight clothes
Some even have a hymen tucked inside their pantyhose
I love the lights, I love the fights and poverty grotesque
Come join me in my big time life and waste into this mess
It's just a freak show...
As I stumble to the home I've carved out of this mess
I think about the foolish ones who dream of happiness
To tell the truth I'm a happy man, and happier I'll be
When I awake to the freak show that is put in front of me
It's just a freak show...

I had Dead Head Fred on Myspace until I posted a few paintings that had a nipple here and there. I had postcards made with the Myspace url until I had my website finished. Myspace didn't like my paintings and told me so by cancelling my account. Needing something quick and in a morbid mood, I picked One Dead Fred... If it wasn't obvious, I'm Fred. This was the first movie that I fingered a girl. There was an older couple right beside her and she opened up her little skirt and i went for it. after a few minutes of fingerbangin, the older woman beside her started sniffing like a blood hound and yelled at us after smelling her snatch. It was so fuckin hot I ran to the bathroom and jerked off in the urinal. I was too embarrased to go back in the movie. I will always remember this movie for that.
BTW...I am from the country and I killed a guy named Bob and stole his identity:smile:

Well, my first name is Barry; so that part's easy. The other part comes from a friend of mine who is a dispatcher for the company for which I drive. He said the only other Barry he knew was one of the Mob henchmen in the movie The Client. That guy was called Barry the Blade. So he started calling me that and it stuck. Now everyone at work calls me that. I didn't want to use my full name on a board like in my email, so I chose my nickname.

I landed on paperbag3 and use it for a lot of things on the Interweb b/c it's just easy to remember everything that way.

When I stared going to message boards I used the name Stevie J. Then I came across one board, signed up and was then informed by the mods that there was already a Stevie W so I changed it to Annoyed Grunt as that was the only thing I could think of at the time. It comes from the Simpsons where in the script they never actually wrote for Homer to say D'oh. it just said "Homer Lets out an annoyed grunt...".

My reason is somewhere around here. 1999 I started playing an online game in which I was essentially a heavily armed tank. My tank was armed with turbo and I would hit the turbo ramming into the opponent. I got the name booster from that, the P is just to differentiate me from any other.

When I was growing up me and my best friend used to refer to cum as skeet. Dont ask me why, we also referred to pussy as beebo. Anyway, wed also had a habit of just singing all different songs and putting the word skeet in for some of the words, something that constantly would catch on after others heard us, again I dont know why.
Back in the early 90's we were huge wrestling fans and I used to refer to Triple H as Triple Skeet. Always though it was a cool name.
When Lil Johns song first came out I literally got about 60 text messages. Every time someone heard it on the radio the first time, I got a text. Then when I heard Dave Chapelle referring to cum as "skeet" after that I was just baffled. I mean it was just so random.
Anyway, thats the boring as story as to how I got my board name. Dont like it? Blow me.

that is some funny shit.
in additional to cum we also called it 'skeet' when you would flick out tiny little spittles from behind your teeth. It is a talent I just tried again after about 25 yrs.
thank you sir
I am going to skeet on my wife now.

I hated all people who would ask such a silly question. They all died mysteriously.
