Just curious...what does everyone think of Tom Lykas?

I think he sucks, I could be jumping the gun here though I dont know. H e seems a little boring and washed up, no where even close to the talent that the A.F.R.O team posesses.

i tried to give him a chance tonite.. but after 30 mins i had to turn off the station.. i just couldn't take the trash that kept calling the show.. and him telling everyone to not get married.. no matter what they said.. just horrible radio. i hope he leaves very soon.. he stinks..

Did you hear that loud, strange clicking noise in the NY metro area at about 6:02 p.m. today? That was the sound of thousands of radios being turned off at the exact same time. I hope the WNEW big-wigs heard it. It's a sound that they are going to hear at the same time every day if they continue to try and shove Tom Lickass on thier audience (or what is left of it). <P>

The guy just kinda whines on and on. Sounds like a totally bitter man with a horrible past. Not fun to listen to at all, and he deserves to be back in over-nights on the weekends where they used to play him. I get the feeling that they're playing him only because they have nothing else to pull from. If Don and Mike were still around, they'd probably bring them back (I'd actually be surprised if they don't eventually re-emerge back on WNEW if it stays a talk station) but right now Lykas doesn't cut it for any time-slot.
