Flooded town wakes to coffins and corpses in streets

People in a German town woke up to find coffins and corpses floating down their flooded streets.

Police in Sieden say a sudden period of heavy rain overwhelmed the area with two metres of water.

The remains of coffins and body parts spilled from the saturated local graveyard.

Locals are still working on the clean-up, 24 hours after the flood.
