View Full Version : Horde King, Why Was My Farewell Topic Deleted?

This morning I started a topic in
the "Off Topic" section of the
board letting people know that I
will be going to Boston tomorrow
for school, and so I just wanted
to give a nice seeya to everyone
and that would be that. About a
half hour after I posted it, I
noticed it had already received 6
very cool responses that I
appreciated a lot. Everyone who
responded was really cool in
their posts and told me "don't
worry" "have a good time" "i'll
send you off with a 21-seeya
salute". Then I come home
tonight and check for my topic to
see if anyone else replied, and
it's gone. What the hell. My
topic did not violate any terms of
the board NOR was it improperly
placed, as I posted it in "Off
Topic". I know I can't e-mail
anyone expecting an
explanation, so maybe you could
help me out Horde King. What'd
I do to deserve this?

In general, if a topic is deleted, the mod who deleted it sends a message to the poster informing them why.

I don't believe we do this when a topic is moved to a more appropriate forum, but I agree it would be a good idea to do so.

Member Orientation??? I was
under the impression that part of
the board was for new members
who are saying "Hi, I'm here",
which is the main reason I never
looked there to see if that's
where my thread got moved.
Thanks ChrisTheCop for the
heads up. ...I guess you can
delete this thread now
HordeKing. I got my answer. ;-)

Anything in terms of people coming or going is to be posted in "Member Orientation"...the title is a little misleading, since you go there to test pics, ask for sigs, post appreciation and birthday threads and what have you...
