I'm sitting here watching all this crap with this "World Champion" shit and i realize that Raw is becoming Nitro. Nitro always had so much talking and storylines, now with the WCW Title that they're calling the "WORLD TITLE" they're absolutely ruining wrestling. They might as well call Raw WCW and SmackDown! WWE. Because Raw is now about as good as Nitro was. Every night they try to do something historic like making a this Ric Flair HHH match and trying to shock people. I know Vince is still running everything but it seems like Eric is really doing all the stuff because this is getting TERRIBLE NOW. That strap looks like a piece of shit. WWE and Raw should be ashanmed of themselves

I always thought that was the way they would go to begin with, now it looks unavoidable. Either way, though, they need more talent. Kane is back, I love Y2J & RVD feuding, but other than HHH, what 'World Title'-Level guys do they have? This is getting painful.

Doing it now seems pointless. I said when they first announced the split that they should have a highest title for each brand (At the time I said the intercontinental and European) but still have the world champion over-all. Doing this is pointless after having the whole Undisputed championship with the wcw/wwf belts last fall. Do you see the problems Eric Bischoff can cause?

Now we have Taker on Smackdown! getting ready to ruin Brock and that show.

Whatever you do, do not blame Eric Bischoff for what is currently happening. At this point, is a character, that is it. He has no say in the writing. On the other hand, Stephanie is the one that blame should be placed fully on. Since Vince has put her in complete creative control of both shows, she has proven two things. #1, She has no idea what fans want to see, or will find entertaining, and #2, Whatever Triple H wants, Stephanie will give him. So, unless Vince removes his daughter from her current position, which he won't, I expect the WWE to continue on this downward spiral for quite some time.

A year and a half after WCW was bought out by Vince, the WWF(E) marks STILL don't get it.

Sure, go ahead, blame all the WWE's troubles on a promotion that ended just about 18 months ago.

If I can paraphrase one of Vince's own quotes, and change it to suit my own purposes, let me do that now. The reason why the WWE is horrible now? It's not cause of WCW. WCW DIDN'T SCREW THE WWF.....VINCE MCMAHON SCREWED THE WWF.

But then I see people blaming the promotions problems on guys like Eric Bischoff or Hulk Hogan, WHO HAVE ZERO EFFECT UPON THE COMPANY (and these same people extoll the virtues of the Bonnie & Clyde of professional wrestling, HHH & Stephanie McMahon), and I think to myself, maybe being bitter ain't so bad.

I had hope in the RAW brand from day one , but I've just about thrown in the towel now. I mean C'mon this isn't WWE! What Is (whoever writes Raw) is thinking? Taking a way the hardcore belt? Brining back the WCW belt?This is Nitro all the way. Paul Heyman is a genuis with Smackdown! He should be GM so all the fans know that he has a better show. While I'm in GM talk , does anybody know when Shane O'Mac is coming back? He's not a good story line writer but hes a fantastic risk taker and would play the GM character great. I think I'm converting my wrestling religion to Smackdown!-anism.

and for the world title handed to the game. well whose brilliant idea was it for the undisputed cahmpion to be owned by smackdown. do all wrestling fans a favor. admit your mistake and have all the freakin wrestlers on both shows. so monday leads into storlines on thursday....

Shane isn't a writer, he runs the New Media Division (websites and publications).

Shane is like Linda and doesn't enjoy being on tv.

Steph is like Vince and enjoys the spotlight.

Bring back the HARDCORE title...push Raven, Stevie, Saturn(without Moppie), and have them run rampant on RAW.....and why the hell isn't TAZZ wrestling anymore?????

my god thumper that was my exact feeling on this entire issue. as soon as bischoff moved the announcers away from the ring this thing screamed nitro but thats besides the point. What should have happend...even though i know it never will is Gertner and Styles should have been the color crew, and the all of the ECW stars that were put on the raw brand should have been given the biggest fuckin push in the history of pushes i thought that was the point of the roster split to get some of the stars we dont see on tv more so that they could display their talents and that there could be more than 4 storylines going on. I believe that if Raw went the way of an ECW type of show this thread wouldnt even exist. STYLES FOR GM!
