Well at any rate it depends on
what kind of fries you like. Fast
food wise I like McD's the best
beacus ethey have a very high
surface area to volume ratio so
they're crisp, and they have
good fry salt.

Nathan's are mushy, but good for
big mealy-type fries.

I like really crispy big fries too,
with lots of malt vinegar!!!

And the spicy curly checkers fries
WOULD be good if they were
ever crispy!

I loved the old BK fries...the Chic-Fil-A waffle fries are immaculate. And Wendy's, well, you have to get them right as they come out of the fryer, but they can be awesome...

Nathan's fries are good as are Chik-fil-a's. The secret to good fries is frying them twice.. the second time at a slightly higher temperature. Of course, I like to use hand-harvested French sea salt, but that's because I'm very macho.
