US Government won't give trademark for scrotum-shaped sculptures

The US government has refused an artist's trademark application for his scrotum-shaped sculptures.

Jeff Tritel calls his sculptures American Brass Balls and says they are meant to be patriotic, not pornographic.

But a US trademark attorney refused to accept the application because the logo was deemed to "comprise immoral or scandalous matter".

Mr Tritel told NCBuy that the officials are nuts.

He plans to appeal, arguing that the brass balls don't communicate sex but "an intrinsically American attitude".
