View Full Version : Ron and Fez Callers: Where Is The Anger?
The Blowhard

It amazes me that some callers are trivializing the 9/11 tragedy. It was no big deal? Amusement Parks?
Don't you people realize that those planes were an attack on ALL of us? What if those planes missed the towers and crashed in Jersey? This was murder, and those scumbags wanted to kill ALL of us.
I don't claim to have the answers, but Jesus, we are all targets and it seems that most people could care less.
We are at war people! It's either us or them.
This attack on our home soil should have rallied us. Our leaders appear to be failing us. Where is the anger? Where is the outrage? God help us.

well, I'm from Jersey, and I'm fucking ANGRY about 9/11 still.
I think that there were just a bunch of fuck nuts that got through. Every real American understands that this was an attack on our country and freedom.
FUCK YOU if you think otherwise. Get out if you disagree.
Why don't you go back to whatever country you think is so much better than the US, and try to voice your opinions there.

Hey, I'll remember and mourn, but I'm not just going to sit at home and rage. Where's the usefullness in that? I'm acting against the terrorist wishes by trying my best to live my life as normally as possible...

Sadly this is probably how vets feel when people trivialize things like WWII by making video games where you can play as Americans or Nazis and shoot each other.. this kind of thing just happens with time. For good or bad, people move on as time progresses and find a way to deal in the world as it is.
I post.

I'm acting against the terrorists by helping our Navy to design and build the best ships and weapons systems possible needed to kill these worthless bastards.

Yes, I'm angry about what happened. I'm also angry about how it turned into just some tv show where the only thing that matters are ratings. People treat it like they saw it as a movie of the week and nothing more. People littered the streets with flags off their cars, and held the red, white and blue long enough to be trendy.
I didn't fly any flags last year. I didn't hang any off my car. It isn't that I didn't believe in what the flag or the country means, I just felt I didn't have to prove it to anyone else. I didn't need to spend money on flag, supporting companies that were profiting off the tragedy. I was much more content with just my anger and my pride, and it didn't matter what anyone else thought about it.

This generation just doesnt care.Political correctness has soften this country.I'm angry STILL.I'm with fez,i'm ready for atrocities.I'm more pissed at people saying close the borders and keep immigrants out.Wouldn't that be a contridiction of everything this country was built on?Remember, the pilgrims were immigrants too.

Immigrants will always be scapegoated.
As I said on the air, our leaders have failed us and public opinion seems to indicate an "I don't care" attitude, which is scary. It may not seem like much, but writing your Senators and members of Congress is a good start. Let them know how angry you are, tell them to stop the partisan bickering and to get their heads out of their asses. You would be shocked how powerful your voice can be, especially in an election year.

I'm angery still to this day and I would have thought there would be more anger, about what happened. This is whats wrong with the country people want to forget. I think the lack of anger from the calls are people who are just sad or just still in shock.

But even the people who are yelling at other people for not being angry aren't angry at the terrorists...they're just angry at the people who aren't angry! That's just pointless...

Yep, because if we don't vote for the right guy, the Supreme Court won't step in at all, right?

Believe me, I have the anger; I just work during the day.
I need to call on 9/11 and vent a bit.
F people with short memories who dont realize we are in combat right now. WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Those a**holes (who flew the planes) are dead, but their cockroach buddies are right amongst us planning the next "big hit."
