Todays Programming Shows WNEW Is Done

Aside from the fact that we're all happy Ron and Fez will be on, look at this mess.
Alan Colmes on midday for one day. He is a political talker and does not belong here.
Then Ron and Fez in a double shift.
They will handle it masterfully as they always do.
But why are they in this situation? Because WNEW fired O&A and replaced them with the loathesome Leykis.
O&A were great during the events of last year, just like Ron and Fez. They are in contact with their audience.
WNEW had no choice but to not run Leykis today because the show is a worthless merry-go-round of mindlessly hateful stupidity.
They have deemed the Leykis show OFFENSIVE! by not running it ( and thank god they're not).
They realized his crap would not fly in NY today and were sent running and the best they could come up with is Alan Colmes and telling Ron and Fez to take care of the rest.
So is Leykis more or less "offensive" than O&A?
I bet they wouldn't have had to pull their show today.
The station is doomed.

Man, I hate Leykis as much as you, but I think the main reason they decided not air him is that its a Las Vegas show and NEW only gets the last hour of it live. I also heard something about Leykis saying he wasn't going on the air on 9/11 and

Colmes doesn't even know why he is there except to take phone calls.
My point is that they wouldn't even be in this situation if things were handled properly with O&A.
Now it's a sinking ship.

But there will always be a life raft for Ron and Fez.
