whats the difference between Dating and Seeing someone?

When does Seeing someone in a relationship become dating officialy? Or is it the same thing really? I think someone would take offence if you said that you were dating when you were really seeing each other and getting to know each other, I dunno anyone got any sugestions?

now i thought that you could be dating a couple of people.. you know i went on a date with person "A" on tuesday and person "B" on thursday... now when you decide who to stay with, i thought that was when you are seeing someone..

i hate this label crap.
theres so much paperwork
to file... it is what you two
want it to be. I never date,
see or whatever, more than
one girl at once. if i can't be
totally into her from the
start, i'm not interested. if
she wants to date other
people she better be worth
it, b/c thats like gettin
gkicked in the nuts.

its up to you what you want,
i always have that
discussion after about 2
weeks of dating someone.
Generally i've been lucky
and they want to be with me
and jsut me (its the
wardrobe). so dont worry
about it.
