Things one shouldn't eat when eating out

Last night I was on the road so I stopped by a deli to get something to eat. Their "special" that night was meat loaf. I was always told never to buy meat loaf out (as you never know what is in it). Boy, should I have taken that advice! I was sick to my stomach afterwards.

Anybody have any other foods you shouldn't get when eating out?

I say be VERY wary about eating fish in wierd places that aren't specifically seafood joints.

I once ate salmon at the Lexus diner in poughkeepsie(i think its poughkeepsie) and it wasn't a wierd shady typical diner, and I got food poisoning sooooooooo bad. So yeah, no fish at "fishy" joints [wacky horn]

I once got a wicked case of food poisoning from an Egg McMuffin. I'll never eat breakfast at a fast food joint again.

I'm also pretty wary of any kind of stew in a place I'm unfamiliar with.

1. Seafood on a Monday - at least in NY, the market sin't open Sundays (or maybe the fishermen take the day off). In any case, it won't be fresh on Monday.

But yes, you must be VERY selective when eating at new places. Even old ones.

I can't really even stand McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, and Taco Bell anymore. They get me felin's kinda Ill.
