Is it possible to extract a specific section from an audio file. For example, could I just take the chorus from a song and have it as a separate file?

QuickTime Pro. But if you
can't get a serial from
anyone, you can probably
find some free audio editing
software on Download.com.

Yes, you can use Cool Edit or something similar, open it, select the area needed and make that a new file.

That's right. I have Cool Edit Pro. NOt a Pro with it myself, but I've dabbled with it, and even I could isolate a small area of a song, so you should have no problem Blakjeezis.

What Backstreet Boy's song are you using?

I downloaded Cool Editor. It did exactly what I needed and it only took me a few minutres to figure it out. Thank you guys. Now I understand why the Instant Feedback beats the producers everytime.

A program came with my speakers and it was a great audio edit program, but I lost it when I went to Windows 2000... I think it was called TBS Montengo Somthing... and there was also a SWEET midi editing program with all these levels, but I think it was installed corruptly
