Lately you can't turn on the radio without hearing Mariette Hartley hawking this system that she claims improves your vision and can even eliminate your need for glasses, all without any surgery.

It is apparently a series of eye exercises that somehow strengthens your eyes. Any validity to this?

this is actually something that has been around for several decades, called "visual therapy" (you've probably seen it at your eye doctor's office, and it is most likely a watered down version). It works best in the young, and if you just go to an Optomologist for it, it is probably covered by your insurance.

GVAC - The See Clearly Method uses the assumption that the eye muscles need to be exercised the same as other muscles. By doing so they theorize that they can improve your vision.

As HIPPIE mentioned it works best in the young, b/c kids have the most elascticity in their eye (and other muscles). As we age however, our eye muscles become less and less elastic (and then fairly rigid). This is commonly seen among people starting around 40 who discover that their eyes can't stretch between close up work, like reading and distance viewing. The bifocals go on and it helps compensate for the body's failure to remain young. (Although I don't know how anyone can ever adjust to a line in their field of vision!)

Personally, I'd either invest the money in a youth restoration potion or in Sears Aluminum Siding. Remember that the license number is available on request.
