I have a growing addiction to all things DBZ, its taking me awhile but im starting to follow the story, anyone know any good websites that explain the story in detail?

no but i'm bored and i love dbz so i'll try to help.

the main story is about goku, a young kid that was raised on earth and had incredible powers and was the best fighter. when he grew up and had a family he learned he was a really a saiyan, a ruthless race of warriors whose planet was destroyed except for a few. when coming to earth as a child he was to take over the earth, only to have an accident and forget who he is, making him the loveable hero he is now.

the only 2 saiyan's left are goku and vegeta, who was the prince of all saiyans. also their sons gohan and trunks are half saiyan and half human now. anyways vegeta is still a ruthless warior wanting to take over the world, but he has always been stopped by goku.

the story of the dragonballs is that there are seven of them scattered all over the world, and when found and brought together the finder can make 3 wishes. obviously both evil and good continuously fight over them and that is the focal point of most of the early stories.

that's pretty much the main storyline, as for where you are at now just ask and i'll fill you in on what's going on.

I still haven't seen past the whole attack of Cell (why are dragonball villians so faggy looking? the last scary villian was Piccolo in the original Dragonball)

And I thought Vegeta sacrificed himself to try to kill Boo. Do they wish him back to life?

I hate how if you're not a saiyan you don't have a chance. I liked the Namek series where everyone could kill people. I also liked when vegeta though goku was a super saiyan but he actually wasn't. Nothing is better than the Namek saga.

Basically the DBZ series ends with the "evil" side of Buu being killed, leaving the remaing happy, fat Buu. Buu reproduces and comes up with Ubuu who is a regular in GT. When GT starts Lord Pilaf (little blue pointy eared guy from original dragonball) trys to steal the black star dragonballs from Mr. Popo and Dende in Heaven. Goku catches him and makes fun of him. Pilaf gets pissed off and basically says: "I wish you were my size so I could kick your ass!" Then Goku shrinks to when he was a kid. Trunks, Goku, and Pan(Goku's grandaughter) travel across the universe to try and find the black star dragonballs. They do this because if you don't find them all within a year and return them to the place where the wish was made, then the place where the wish was made is destroyed. I've actually seen the whole GT series on bootlegged DVD'S.

Guys, let the DBZ newbies find out for themselves. If they want new, cartoon network airings, plot lines send it by email. The thread is going to ruin it! Give them a chance to air.

As for the sagas, go to dragonballz.com and get the run-down on all the aired sagas in full.

As for me, by far the Namek and Cell Sagas are the best. Yet I haven't had a chance to watch all of GT yet. KAHHHHMEEEEE!

for me, the z warriors and namek saga were the best, because they involved alot of the old characters like tienen and yaumchao. It also shows Piccollo evolving from a villian to a hero, and vegeta at his most fearsome.

I missed alot of the Cell games, but from what i saw, it was also very good.
