From what I read , it has been canceled. They say the the production costs are too high for a show that has too small of an audience. Big mistake by Scifi.

Sci-Fi is retarded. That's the ONLY show on their network worth watching and they give it the axe. They claim the audience "wasn't growing". Bullshit. Realistically, it was more of a money issue. The show cost a little more to make than the Sci-Fi bean counters wanted.

So the show is on hiatus until January....where the final episodes will be aired.

what's new, just like any other tv channel cancelling good shows like abc cancelling "the job" and Fox cancelling "the family guy" and Titus. I wouldn't be surprised that stargate sg-1 is next to be cancelled

That may be the case in hindsight, but at the time, it was cancelled based on what Sci-Fi called "slipping ratings"...up until the announcement, the official newsletter and website were standing by, watching to see if they'd be picked up again...
