Is Kane really the original Big Red Machine?

Well after several discusions with my boyfriend, I decided to ask for some help on this topic and put an end to our ongoing disagreement about the Big Red Machine.
Ever since Kane returned to Raw, my boyfirend has been convinced that he is not the original Kane. He says due to difference in manorisms, the fact that now he speaks more, his build and little stuff like that, that it is not the orginal guy.
Now I keep telling him maybe he has lost a lil weight and toned up some more since its been quite some time since we saw him last. I also think that the new mask may throw people off cause it has more openess in the mouth area.
Regardless of what I say though, he is convinced that it isn't the same person. Can anyone help me put an end to my and my boyfriends curiosity?

there's been alot of rumors about this. Personally, I think its the same guy. he lost alot of weight because he tore a bicep and wasn't able to work out and keep up his buffocity. and he has always wanted to talk more because its hard to be popular when you don't talk. i just wish he stayed quiet. I liked the old, quiet menacing Kane better. the new silly Kane bugs me

I agree with you, I think it is the same guy. I also agree aout the silent old Kane. Its like when The Undertaker went all biker badass on us. What was wrong with the creepy Undertaker? Why do they have to change the cool wrestlers? Arrgggg...it urks me..

Its definetly the same red machine. Even in the very little that he has wrestled so far he still looks the same in the ring.

I imagine the cause for the mask being more revealing around the mouth is because it would be pretty damn hard to breath out of that little slit he had before. And yeah, he just lost size from not working out. Biceps aren't just involved with working out your arms. They also work with the back, and a little with the shoulders (depending on what you do). So there was a lot he was not able to do workoutwise.

It is the real Kane. Rev, hasn't looked close enough. :)

His build is different because he was recovering from an injury and he was not able to hit the weights during rehab like before. Hope that helps.

Didnt he used to have a smallscar on his upper arm? i havent seen that since his return.
also,he never did that backwards flip out of the ring exit, at least not to my knowledge.
His voice sounds different, and i guess i can understand the new mask issue for that, but ...i dunno folk. i think we're all bein duped!!!!
he doesnt even do the choke slam the same way.

He's been doing that for a couple years now.

It's the same Kane, new outfit, new mask and they are allowing him to talk normal.
