Why is the RF replay only 3 hours?

Has anyone ever heard why the nighttime replay is an edited 3 hour version of the day time show? Was it because there was supposed to be an "original" 7 - 10 show that never materialized? Why the heck have mostly reruns/taped versions of Lovelines on from 10 PM - 3 AM when you can get an extra hour of RF?

The weird thing about the Leykis show is that they play only the last hour of it live, and the first 3 hours are a replay from the previous day's show. That just makes no sense. One "insider" told me it's because Infinity wanted to get the 18-34 year olds that listened to O&A would switch to Kane/Cabbie on K-Rock, and not worry about NEW's afternoon slot for the time being. This way NEW could still get some decent ratings on mid-days for the 1st time in a LONG time...

At the very least, why can't Ron and Fez go from 6-10?

I'd rather have them on live from 7-11, but the very least they can do is give the listeners from the old slot get the whole show if they can't hear it live.

Yea, that 3 hour replay is such a TEASE! It's better than noting for those of us who missed the daytime show, but you miss a FULL HOUR of shit!

I think it is because this way they can air Loveline Live?? Not sure though.

Nah Loveline is on live from 10 - 12 PST which would of course be the 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM slot here...

Is it a pure 3 hours of the midday show, or is it more, with fewer commercials? They do the opening and closing everynight, that's why I ask!

Because it is a bad programming decision and WNEW is trying to break the record for bad programing decisions in a quarter.

Frankly, it sucks for me as I can mostly only hear them in replay and find the Loveline boring, though not as bad as tom lickass--whose continued presence in drive time has to be the WORST programming decision EVER made on radio.

It doesnt make sense... loveline runs for 2 hours... at 11 they should start that night before's show and then at 1 they could have the love feed. Loveline always has that random 12:00 hour... they might aswell ditch it, make lovine air at 11, and make ron+fez air 7-11

Why, because WNEW SUCK'S, They keep moving Ron & Fez, I think to fuck with their rating's, but the dumb bastard's dont realize that no matter where you put them, they produce! When they started the Saturday best of show, they had an hour less, again to put Lickass on, when at that time, he wasnt even on the station anymore. They are still trying to get rating's with that asshole, when it's still obvious, New York & New Jersey listeners dont like him.
