Another DC/JFK problem

My big beef is when there's a night football game on. I've got to listen to the whole damn game, the official post-game and the Junkies post game then if i'm lucky i'll hear maybe an hour of Ron and Fez. Stupid football on radio... that's what TVs are for... stupid people.

It's not a problem its an inconvenience. This deal with WJFK doing the Redskins games exclusively began last year and was well advertised.
WJFK paid alot of money for the redskins broadcast and pay very little for the Ron and Fez replay. Therefore business sense says you go with what you paid more money for. Yeah it sucks but its only one show out of the year maybe two if the redskins have 2 monday nighters, but its not every monday this happens.
And as far as getting ron and fez live in d.c. if they (R&F) dont know what happening with their show on WNEW what sense would it be for WJFK to pay that money for the show from new york if it is moved elsewhere in the near future. My guess is that as soon as the situation shakes out then the R&F situation in D.C. will be straightened out, since as you know there is a 4 hour opening from 11-3 and maybe they are testing the sports junkies at that slot in case R&F come here live from 7-11.
This thing is a process and wont happen overnight, so stop bitching about it and live with it.

1) It's not just Redskins games i've had to sit through. JFK played a game a few days ago that was broadcast (the same bradcast) on another station.

2) I didn't mention anything in this post about R&F being broadcast live on JFK. I like the tape delay because it's played while i'm at work.

3) Stop bitching about my bitching and live with it.

I didn't mention anything in this post about R&F being broadcast live on JFK.

Yeah but you did mention that you only get to listen to an hour if that of RnF after the after show. So that does tie in with what you said.

Does anybody know what would be the quickest time for the JFK lineup to swtich (Junkies go to 11am-3pm and RnF live from 7-11)?

I know i hate that so much, the earliest i've heard them on after a stupid game is about 2:30. They should have that show a lot shorter of something to make it easier for people to listen to ron and fez.

Because of the skins coverage by WJFK, yes you will have to hear the post game report. BUT, they are usually on Sundays, and thats not bad cause its a replay anyway. If its a monday night game, then it sucks. But considering the skins have only 2 monday games, no biggy.

The Red skins superscede everything. They are the home town NFL team.

But rejoice, the skins have allready played their one Monday night game, so R&F will be there, with no SKINS interruptions. I'd rather listen to R&F anyway then the SKINS.
