Hey, i was wondering what some people on here thought about Schwarezenegger, afterall he completely ruled the 1980s movie scene. Sure, we all remember his actually good movies of Terminator 1 & 2 and Predator. But how about some of these other classics? Last Action Hero anyone? How about Running Man? Oh both Oscar worthy performances by Schwarzenegger, but in recenent years he's only gotten worse. Anyone see the horrific End of Days or The Sixth Day? My friend and i went there just for a couple of laughs one week. There were seriously 3 people in the theater and we laughed our asses off for the entire hour and a half that those guys cashed out for that crap. Oh and it looks like he's just going to get even better with planned sequels to already horrible movies. How abot some True Lies 2? Or lets bring back the one movie that brought any respect to his name and put out a completely new movie ten years after the last. Yep that's right... Terminator 3! God this guy is horrible.
Off the top of my head here are Schwarzeneggers worst movies ever (in no order):

Kindergaten Cop
The Running Man
Last Action Hero
Total Recall
True Lies
Junior
Batman & Robin
End of Days
The Sixth Day
Commando

I can't think of any more right now. But they are definetly out there.

If you need a good laugh, rent "Hercules in New York".
They actually dubbed in a different voice for Arnold!

I gotta disagree on a bunch of your choices there steel...
The Running Man, Total Recall, True Lies, and even Commando were pretty good...and Kindergarten Cop even supplied some laughs. And to add to a good list of Arnold movies, you have to include Eraser (1996), which was a great action flick.

If you're looking for a better actor with deeper storylines and more in depth, meaningful dialogue, then Arnold is not the person to go to. His movies are usually entertaining and violent, which is all you ask them to be, really.

I agree with you though about End of Days...that movie was rough to get through, but at least he made an attempt at having a little more dialogue in the movie. And Last Action Hero wasn't all that bad, for those of you who saw it too! :) That's my two cents.

I can't really go Old School on this one, but I think Michael Jai white is a horrible actor, but a great action star. He just helped Universal Soldier: The Return to be a totally horrible movie and he kinda ruined Spawn.

Arnold has given us a lot of good movies, so I let movies like Junior and The Sixth Day slide.

I hate you, Poot. Manos is hands down the worst movie I ever sat through. By the end, even Joel and the bots were so traumatized they stopped making jokes!

All manos was missing was a complete series of 9 movies getting progressingly worse. Maybe it's about time that they made a remake.

Check the IMDB on Manos, check under Trivia. Apparently the movie was shot with a camera that could only film for thirty seconds at a time, and without sound. All the voices in the movie were dubbed by pretty much two actors...THAT is why it's so brilliant.

LOOK OUT FOR SNAKES! (wait..wrong movie..)

LMAO. It also says in that same trivia section that 3 of the stars of the film commited suicide shortly after they completely shooting the movie. They were probably forced to sit through the entire movie after production was complete and realized the horrible mess that they had created

I liked the Running Man, Total Recall and Commando.

I thought Michael Jai White had a good performance in Spawn and The Guyver 2 (I'm a Guyver fan).

William Shatner will forever be Kirk.

Patrick Stewart got out of that shadow of being a starship captain. He will be the only one.

What else has Avery Brooks done?

The Big Hit? (great movie, but nothing that will be remembered) The I.B.M. commercials?

What about Kate Mulgrew? Does anyone even remember Mrs. Columbo?

heck, does anyone remember Columbo?!?

"Cast in the name of good, ye not guilty".

"Lots of stuff blowed up real good"

"Lets SHAMPOO US SOME ALIENS!!!"
