I haven't listened to the Beatles in such a long time... I didn't go out and buy all their stuff when the craze hit a couple of years ago, but I just started listening to their stuff the other day for the first time in a while... It is sooo fucking good.

Although you CANNOT deny their place in Rock history, I was never a huge fan.
It's so UPBEAT! Feh!
And I find the Yellow Submarine and Sgt. Pepper shit a little corny.

"Abbey Road" is the perfect album from start to finish. "Here Comes The Sun" is my favorite song of all time.

I'm sick of this "picking 'Revolver' to be different" shit. The white album is by far their best. It's got something for everyone on it, even those foolish Nazis who say they hate the Beatles.
This is the ballsiest thread ever. I can't believe someone dared to post it.

I've always thought "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul" were 10 times better than "Sgt. Pepper," but somehow it seems to have been anointed Rock's greatest album.
To me, the Beatles were always at their best when Paul was behind a piano screaming his heart out.

I have been listening to the
beatles since before I was
born. How ezxcited was I
when A Hard Days Night
came out on DVD a week
ago??? I just wish they'd
rerelease Help! on DVD,
because I can't seme to find
it for less than $70 :( Sgt.
Pepper is considered a
great album because as an
entire unit it is so cohesive,
similar to a concept album
like Pet sounds or
whatever. Personally I have
a different favorite Beatles
album every week. right
now it's Beatles For Sale.
Beatles fan since day one!!

Amen. Paul was the whitest man to ever be blessed with a soulful black man's howl, and he seemed to sadly have forgotten he had it a good 30 years ago...

Beatles are great. I think Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, Hard Days Night, and White Album are the best. I like Revolver, but I hate it that everyone is picking it as the best to be different also. I think Sgt. Pepper is very overrated.

Sgt. Pepper shit a little corny.
That it may seem, but it still is one of the best albums EVER!!! I mean the Rolling Stone magazine did a thing on greatest albums of all time and there were the Beatles romping all over the top 20. I believe they had 5 entry's in top Ten including Number one...
Also many people do realize that "Abbey Road" is last recorded album but not last released. That distinction goes to "Let It Be"...

I love the Beatles, I know that's redundant but I had to chime in. Will ya still need me, will ya still feed me, when I'm 64?
