I am all against having the state or whoever decides what to do with you belongings determine where it goes when you die , that is why I will definetly write a will. What age will you write yours? I think that It is appropriate to say around your mid to late thirties. I am all the time hearing about people dying of cancer at a young 32 or a 40 or a 37. I say why risk it and see how long you can go on for without writing it. Plus by your late thirites there probably wont be too much in your life that will change something in your will dramaticly.

It depends. My wife and I did ours about 2 weeks ago. We did it because we have a baby now and want to make sure she (and any future kids) keep what is ours and not have it fall into the hands of the government. I'm 38 but do it when you feel the time is right.
Plus by your late thirites there probably wont be too much in your life that will change something in your will dramaticly.
You couldn't be more wrong about that my friend. Take it from one who knows.

Well, I did mine at 20 (in law school), but I recomend everyone make one at the latest when they get marrried and update it when they have kids.
