I'd love to hear a bit on the saddest film moments. Some of mine are the moment in The Last American Virgin where at the end he finds out that the girl he loves and has just went through the abortion with has gotten back together with the jerk who dumped her and he drives away crying ...

When Michael Collins gets killed in "Michael Collins". Historical, the movie is up its own ass, but the staging and pace of the scene combined with the use of "She Moved Through The Fair" gets a lump in my potato-eating throat...

When Karen cries because Frosty has melted. And even though Santa's right there to explain how he's gonna come back to life at the very 1st kiss of winter's wind, well, I still get a little faklempt!
Bet she grew up to be a little hottie, though. Not saying Judy Jetson hot, but definitely hot!
And it's not a sad moment, but the end of Rudy always hits me where I live.

Oh and RonHungu....excellent job! you are absolutely right about last american virgin. it must have been so long ago when i saw that but it was like way too sad for that guy driving away. the song that plays in the background is "Just Once" by James Ingram

AI: Sad but terrific movie. Lots of sad parts. Especially when he thinks he finds his mother but she is a statue and she breaks...and when the higher life beings take the DNA from the hair and give him time with his real mother's soul :( If you saw this movie you would understand...if not, I hope I didn't ruin it for ya.

I still get teary eyed from Titanic. The scene when the band plays the last song and they are showing the old couple laying in bed together while the room is filling up with water. Then when the captain goes into the room and all the water comes in and does him in, I ball like a friggn' baby. I'm such a puss.

I never realized how sad the ending of Sixth Sense was until I saw it a second time. I guess I was so shocked about Bruce Willis being dead throughout the movie the first time I saw it that I didn't realize how poignant the scene between him and his wife is and how incredibly sad she was.
