Animal Crossing is good....but WHY?!?!

I just rented this game Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. And I Really like it! I think I'll buy it when I return it, but for the LIFE of me, I'm not sure WHY it's so much fun!

Besides having to pay off my house payment in the beginning of the game, I can't really figure out how I'm going to WIN this game. You fish dig up fossils and mail them to the museum to be identified, run around for the townspeople, and other shit like that.

I must admit, I didn't get too far in the game yet, but I keep playing, and I'm NOT really expecting anything big to happen. The most important thing it seems is decorating my character's house.

Anyone else into this new Gamecube game?

Oh, and it's SO FUCKING CUTE LOOKING it's sickening.

most of the reviews for this game have been positive. i think the game looks interesting myself, unfortunatly i don't have the cube :( yet i think the funniest thing it moe posting this thread, if you've ever seen what the game looks like, lol this was a good laugh thanks moe.

good!!!! I can't put it down! It's so
addicting and the more you play
the deeper you get and
eventually you get to play vintage
Nintendo games and you can put
them in your house. You can
train the townspeople to say
certain things, so now when
Louie the gorilla sees me, he
calls me Sexy Thang. hahaha
You get to decorate your house
with cool stuff. You can trade
memory cards with others and
visit their town. I highly
recommend this game.

And WHY IS THIS GAME SO COOL???

I actually found myself writing an APOLOGY LETTER to some ASSHOLE DOG named Murphy in my game after I offended him! I WISH for nice furniture to decorate my house? I donate shit to the local museum? I catch insects? I shake trees for friut in them? I haven't even got a fishing pole yet! I'm constantly paying off my debt to the shop keeper Nook in town for my house. I run errands for people??

WHY IS THIS FUN?!?! I'm not sure, but it IS!
