Anyone else get the new Jurassic 5 album today?

Is it on par with Quality Control. To me that Album cannot be topped. I heard it was kind of the same but am holding out to get it. For some reason hip-hop groups always disapoint me on the second record. Not that I don't have faith in J5 but it always turns out this way.

I must say..Quality Control is one of my top5 favorite albums...I hope the new one lives up to it. Whats the DVD all about?

Did you happen to catch them on Letterman last Thurday? Or was it Leno...Anyway, they were amazing!

It's almost as good as "Quality Control"...just a hair beneath it...and the only reason I say that is because it's not as sample heavy, and I love Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist's beat-juggling most of all...but lyrically, they're better than ever...that's the main difference between these guys and groups like Wu-Tang and Black Eyed Peas is that each of the J5 MC's could go solo and still be better than every other hip-hop head out there. So if you liked "Quality" and the first EP, dive right in with this one, it's an instant classic.

The DVD has a bunch of live footage and the video for the new single, "It's Golden". Look for the edition with the blue cover.

Personally, the EP will always be my favorite. NOTHING they do can top "Jayou"...

J5 is one of the best groups out right now! i have some cuts off of "Quality.." but i have yet to pick up this one. hopefully chinatown has it bootlegged by now.
