very true. I've been on the biggest 80's music kick lately, listening to stuff like The Waitresses for no good reason.

I like Big Country also.
I just saw the Smithereens a couple of weeks ago. Great show (small club).
Do you remember a band called the blasters they are reuniting also? Should be a good show.
Another band with a Song and Album all named the same is Talk Talk.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

"Big Country" was a fantabulously great song. And the band wasn't actually too shabby. As for other one or two hit Brit 80's bands that didn't get enough exposure but overall RULE are The English Beat and Madness. Respect.

Let's not forget the Style Council and the Jam. I met Big Country for some reason a long time ago. It was totally unremarkable.

The Jam is a great band. Anyone her like The Clash? I nonminate Sandanista as they're best album, just because of the song "Charlie Don't Surf"

Yeah, i guess it's hard to choose a favorite Clash album. Give Em Enough Rope is pretty phenomenal
