I'm in the final stages of the game now. Some thoughts on the game.... cool graphics and story <P> terrible camera work, the worse I've ever seen. <P> you can't change weapons during battles and have limited items during battles. you only control Sora, your 2 partners are controlled by the computer. it's about 8/10, not the best game I've played but far from the worst. When I finally finish it, I'll give a more complete review. <P> <P> <P>

I just picked it up earlier this week and have only played it for a couple of hours. Graphics are decent (models and characters) but there is a distinct lack of anti-aliasing so the edges of structures are jaggy. The story is a tad strange, and the bad guys seem to be lifted straight out of ICO. Voicework is pro. Camera is terrible. Battles are fun. So far, it's a pretty good game, but not the best I've ever played. I'll give it a 7.6 out of 10. The real magic is the integration of classic Disney with Square characters. If your wife/girlfriend is a big fan of Disney cartoons, pick this one up and play it with her. More family oriented in my opinion, which is a good thing in this case.

The camera isnt bad if you hold down L2 and R2

and in the other FF games when coudl you change weapons mid battle?

Just finished it...One thought I have... get ready for Kingdom Hearts 2. The ending bosses were not as hard as I thought. Still have to beat the optional bosses. Not a bad little game. I think it's worth a try...final rating..8.5/10.00. I would have rated it higher except for the camera. <P>

I bought a PS2 just for Kingdom Hearts. Best game I've played since Zelda 64. The little J Pop tune isn't bad either. Yeah, I know it's gay to think that I bought a PS2 for Kingdom Hearts, but I got a GameCube for my Resident Evils, Metroids, and football.

i don't know who said it, but the voice work is wonderful. Thats def. James Woods as Hadies and i think the only one so far that wasn't the original was Genie from Alladin...Mr. Williams must be too good for some game...:( But I'm only like 16 hrs into it.

So far, so good. Although I occasionally get irked by all the backtracking (on the Alice level). For someone who's not too familiar with RPG's, it's taken some time to get used to the idea of equipping other party members and handling inventory like this. My wife loves to watch me play the game though.
