I haven't played a MUD since college. That shit is addictive and killed my gpa my first year.

I played a role playing game like D&D once based on the Cuthulu Mythos that H.P. Lovecraft made up in his many books. It was pretty cool. It's the world I'm almost positive that Gamecube game Eternal Darkness ripped off.

You could play in a variety of time periods, and as you encountered the different horrific things in the game, you lost sanity. You lose when you die or you're insane.

Cool in my book.

WoD is Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, etc.

I had a gm who knew how to work the politics brilliantly. The game was insanely great because every little thing we did had just the right repurcussions in the game world.
