Akward Man Love

you know what i mean...
that hug that just isn't ok,
but you have to give it.
when a relative u dont really
know kisses you on the
cheek (i'm talking male-
male). the worst is either
the flabby hand shake that
lasts too long, and the hug
that squeezes too hard. its
just creepy.

any thoughts? stories?

I came from a family where we just didn't hug. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that not hugging or kissing necessarily means that you are not loved. It doesn't.

I always feel uncomfortable when people (other than someone I love) hugs me. I had this Italian girl at my job who did it all the time. I really felt uncomfortable with it. I just have the feeling it is fake - or is something I feel FORCED to do.
