...and what the hell do you do? I was heading in to the PA Turnpike bathrooms today and as I was holding the doors for people coming out, this old lady (55?) tripped on the carpet and landed flat on her face. I watched it happen and it was in such slow motion as it happened. I just stood there and was like "Oh SHIT!"
She said she hurt something with her shoulder and was just lying there flat ont he ground. A lady went inside to get help and no one showed up for like 5 minutes. I just left and made sure she was taken care of but what the hell do you do in a situation like that? It is the most f'ed up thing. I want to help but don't know what to do. Weird.

Akward situation...sounds like you did everything you could as long as you made sure she got help. Not a good idea to move hurt people.

When I am at work (token Booth), we have to call for assisitance whenever someone has an injury. The bosses turn it in to the biggest pain in the ass that u could ever imagine with badge #'s, paper work, statements, etc. So I like to make sure that before I call for help, the person is absolutely, positively in need of it.

So, one night I am working a double shift, and this guy holding a boom box comes racing down the stairs when he hears the subway coming as most people do. This guy fell clean down a whole flight of stairs. He cleared them without even touching one step.After he smacked the pavement, his boombox fell on him. I swear, I thought the friggin' guy was dead. I called him from the booth mic to see if he was OK and needed assistance. He just got up, brushed himself off, said he was fine, took his now destroyed boombox and went through the turnstile. After he left, I laughed all night.

I watched my best friend accidentally shoot himself in the face when his gun apparently misfired. (Please don't ask me how this happens or what kind of gun it was because i know nothing about guns.) It was f'n disturbing.

yea one time walking down the hall i didnt signal and crashed into some guy and then caused a 8 person pile up
