Well, to say the least I know being such a huge Kevin Smith fan, I had to see this movie and a buddy of mine had gotten it on DVD. I remember hearing back in the spring that the movie was incredibly disturbing and unlike anything that Kevin Smith had ever done and was complete cringe. So I watched it. After all was said and done, I would say it was good. Really worth checking out if you like Kevin's movies. Definitely different and very uncomfortable in spots and depressing as hell in some spots but the story is good and the movie flows well. It will make you never look at Dante the same again.

Smith only produced it. It was written and directed by Bryan Johnson, and stars Brian O'Halloran(sp?), who was Dante in "Clerks". This is one of those films you either love or loathe, and I'm firmly in the latter camp. Watch at your own risk.

I am definitely going to see it. I love all of Smiths movies (obiously). It looks very twisted.

I went to the second Vulgarthon. Nifty little event View Askew puts on, but I think the third will have been the last...

k, Dante was the guy in clerks (the clerk) that kept saying "I wasn't suposed to be here". And I saw Vulgar too. First I'd like to say I am clownaphobic, and was quite reluctant to watch it. But after I put my fear aside, I watched it. I thought it wasn't bad. Not as good as ANY of the "Kevin Smith" written movies, but it was disturbing so thats what made it cool. But I don't know if it was just the DVD Rev and I rented or what, but sparaticly, especially in the beginning of the movie, the dialoge and the movie didn't match up. They would be talking in the movie, and the sound would be on a 5-10 second delay.
But my final opinion is all and all, it was worth the rental!!!!!

"Drawing Flies" is pretty much a waste of time. Lee is funny, and you get to see Mosier in a diaper, but otherwise it's just a mess. "A Better Place" kicks ass. Vincent's got a great career ahead of him as a filmmaker, and he's a helluva nice guy, too...

i finally got to see this movie last night. very sick, twisted, and disturbing, which is usually what i like in movies! unfortunatly some of the editing and most of the sound was horrendous! all and all it was ok.

Brian (clown) is a good friend of mine. He is a great guy. A very prof. actor. He had a tuff time with the role. what you don't know is the real bad sene.. the one with the guys ... well you know. His Girlfriend Dana was just off camera. She actually was with him as he was getting ready and watched the scene. She was on set for moral support. She told me it was alittle too real and a very hard movie to watch them make. I think she is in the movie too. I don't know if they kept her scene though. They did another one up in canada about a flower Delivery service.
Also.- he Got Clerks in kinda a miss hap. He was actually auditioning for a completely diffrent role. He is very involved at NJ Repretory. You can see his Picture and mine at www.njrep.org he is Brian of course and I am Alberto. The latin guy. hay! then you will know who MR_happy is! =)

OK. I finally got to see this movie tonight. And it was as bad as people made it out to be. It was a very good movie. I was very reluctant to watch it, but it was not as disturbing as it was made out to be. If you haven't seen it, it's worth checking out.
