i remember their "fag metal" days (pre-anselmo).
boy did they suck till they decided to ride the hardcore/metal crossover bandwagon.
somehow, they overcame this sad sad point in their lives and produced some great music.

it was obviously a blatent attempt to get women as they are a bunch of homely rednecks.
this desperation is still evident in the fact that a couple of them have to own strip clubs to get laid.

Man that's the best pic i seen of them back in the hair band days, on the internet.

Well that was the start of PanterA, before Phil. Although Phil is in that pic, they quickly started pumping out hardcore heavy metal once he became a member of the band.
