this stuff b/c of school being
so far away... but isn't a
HUGE portion of WNEW's
target audience under 21??
i think events should be
18+, or open, and the
bartenders should just
card. its pretty stimple.

the only reason i can think
of to keep them 21+ is for
insurance reasons, and so
the cops dont bug em

It isn't WNEW that is making this regulation. The Hard Rock serves liquor and if people under 21 are present they can lose their license (and get fined).

for the rock and ribs they said it would be a 21+ event but on the way in they did not card. i talked to johnny hard rock and made sure it would be ok for me to get in. i promised him i wouldnt drink and i wouldnt cause any trouble and it was fine. i kept my word, i didnt drink and it was all good. i plan to do the same thing for this.

Hmm... I didn't know WNEW's target audience is under 21. Wow, I would have thought the opposite. But, my brother listens with me and he's only 14 so it doesn't matter to me. They can listen, but they can't participate in any of the 21+ events.

18-20 are adults but still underage when it comes to alcohol. Its just to be safe. Nothin' personal.
