IT'S TIME !!

First of all I have to thank ScottBaio, Sunndoggy8 and DEATH. After much deliberation and going against my better judgment, I have decided to take Ron and Fez up on their straight jacket bit idea. After all, looking back I really can't blame Ron and Fez or the Boards members for thinking I am crazy. I suggest that Al Dukes and a WNEW executive sit in on my presentation. Then everyone can publicly critique my Ideas, plan, and vision.

This is just a post to whomever is interested,
I just received an e-mail from the Ron and Fez show. They are going to let me make my presentation on air, and unfortunately I have to wear a straight jacket. Believe it or not I am so PSYCHED. I promise to mention the board and all of the great board members who have been hard on me but fair. I think this board ROCKS! Wish me luck. I'll need it. I am also going to request that Al Dukes and a WNEW executive sit in on my presentation, then they can all critique my ideas, plan, and vision. And yes I realize I owe a lot to this board you guy's have given me good insight into the show.I CAN"T WAIT!!

For what its worth I really appreciate the support.(The very little I am getting) Maybe by this example I will inspire others to do things that they might have thought to difficult. I would like to stress I am NOT looking for a job. I simply want to point out all of the short comings of WNEW and the Ron and Fez show, I will also give easy and clear solutions to all of the problems. Good point, I think after my presentation. I hope to be a Co-producer/consultant, I have no desire in doing the day to day producing of the show, I do not have the technical experience or the desire, thus Al dukes will still be needed. I won't care if after my presentation they get someone else to implement the improvements and changes to the show. You cannot improve the show without making drastic changes in WNEW itself; there are some fundamental problems with the running of WNEW. I hope to first give my suggestions for WNEW executives and then advice and plans for the Ron and Fez show. Right now the show is like an old lady driving a Ferrari on the highway at 45 mph, you see the potential of the car you just need to get some else behind the wheel. RON and Fez are the Ferrari, Al Dukes and WNEW executives are the Old lady.

As for you mad super insane non-producer Ron Feury, I think you need to take a couple of cold showers to calm the hard-on you have for ron and fez. Why don't you go back to just appreciating the show.

Pantera posted his idea for Ron and Fez promos on this very messagboard and he actually got them played out on the radio!

If you want to be part of the show, why don't you put in an application to be an intern.

Better yet, why don't you go to a broadcasting school like all the real people who actually put TIME and EFFORT into the field they wanted to be part of.

You WILL NOT be a producer because a) you have ideas that will not work and b) YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED!

Mad Producer, clarify something for me. If you're overseas on business, you obviously have some sort of prestigious job where you make (most probably) a six figure salary+. Do you dislike your job, and have you always had a love for radio, or is it specifically those "problems" with the Ron and Fez show that you've discussed that have made you decide to want to be a radio producer? And don't you think college experience in Mass Communications would be valuable in a radio position...or do you think you can simply just become the producer because you just want to?

If this ass wants to be producer, then I say make me the director. I have ideas that will make the show better. I can also pinpoint the shortcomings of WNEW. I would make an excellent director. I'm qualified too. I know when they should go to commercials or do live reads. I have no experience, but then again, why do you need experience to get into the #1 market in the world?

As usual you make very valid points, I am self employed and run two successful companies. I make a very nice living, and I never had a desire to be in radio. I am not looking for a job with Ron and Fez. I simply want to tell them my ideas, plans and vision for the show, if after that they would like me to help implement those changes, I would do so for free until I prove myself. I would be more than happy if they take some of my ideas and get someone more qualified to follow through. I hope this clears up my motives. I am willing to do all of this live on air and if need be in a straight jacket. At the very least it will be funny radio. (Especially if I come across as a crazy retard)
