I was about to make a thread about the same thing. The match was extremely bloody, even Heyman got the red face. Taker's blood looked real from the steps. I could see a darker spot and a hole from where the corner hit. Even if it was fake it was still crazy.

Mass Transit isn't even entertainment. It's just disgusting to watch.

I'd also through out CZW's "Fans Bring the Weapons" Match from UnF'Nbelievable 2001. Justice Pain / Johnny Kashmere vs. Jun Kasai / "Sick" Nick Mondo. Kasai gets cut to the BONE.

that tape if full of bloody matches.

the match that comes to my mind was the Beluah vs Bill Alfonso match. Fonzie bleeds a ton. he must of cut his forehead wrong and it was gross. everytime he bent his head over huge puddles would form in the ring. I thought the guy showed alot of heart going on with the match. He looked like he was going to passout from losing so much blood.

Japanese tapes with Mr. Pogo are also very bloody. The guy uses a long knife to cut peoples heads open.

now, by blood do you mean red food coloring placed at strategic times?

ANyone know how they get all that blood on themselves?? Is it like a pill that they burst in each other? And where do they store these things so that they dont break during the match?? Thanks!

Gnomes...it's all done through the magic of microscopic gnomes.

Edit: OK, since I think you're genuinely curious, and not being a smartass, I'll be nice (for once).

Blood capsules are very rarely used to simulate bleeding anymore; an exception would be when a wrestler bursts a capsule in his mouth to simulate severe internal bleeding.

There are two main causes of bleeding during a match. The first is 'blading' when a wrestler purposely uses a razor to nick or slice his skin before or during a match, causing the skin to rip apart easily when his opponent hits him. There have been instances where a wrestler accidentally nicks an artery, resulting in substantial blood loss.

The other way is 'hardway,' which is a legitimate, unplanned injury to the skin, resulting in anything between a slight trickle and a massive gush of blood.

It's hard to see the problem when the problem is me.

Stone Cold is famous for the razor blades in his wrist bands. He'd hide them in there and when he got hit in the head or something he put his wrists up on his face while lying on the ground and give it a ole slice. And believe it or not sometimes its real. Mick Foley only used fake blood once in his career, and he's been bloodied up plenty of times. When you're constantly blading and getting hit in the head it doesn't take much to cut open your forehead.

To anyone who asks me whether or not it's real blood, or "fake", I simply point at Steve Corino's forehead.

I don't know if its on the tape you have, but the tape I have has back stage footage of Kasai getting his wounds tended too. Its not pretty.

And Peachy, I'm assuming by the name and sig that you are female. Id I am right, any woman that can make a mass transit reference earns a special place in my heart.
