Hey
I know they arent the most commercial band out right now. But I was wondering if Rory and myself are the only Counting Crows fans around this place?
They are an AMAZING band and recently played 3 nights in NYC. Anyone check them out? Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Coffee, tea or milk ?
If you havent given them a try or only know them as that band that sang Mr Jones a long time ago....GIVE THEM A CHANCE

You're not fooling anyone, Rory.

But I was wondering if Rory and myself are the only Counting Crows fans around this place?

Yes. Sorry.

Listening to the counting crows is liked getting raped, it happens sometimes, but you're too embarassed to talk about it. Yuck. Whiney, fake soul fairies.

I usually don't gravitate towards that type of music, but I can appreciate their musicianship and songwriting skills. I don't own any of their records, but when a tune of theirs comes on the radio, I don't lunge at the tuner to escape. Not bad pop stuff.

Good choice Effmeboobs, there are 2 REALLY good songs on their new album that have the same kind of feel.
Check em out: Goodniht LA
and Holiday in Spain

They also do a cover of Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell that is really good.
