apparently, the cops found a message in the woods from the last shooting and told someone to call them. when they did, they traced the call and found a white van that they then surrounded and took one man into custody..lets hope this is the guy..

ALSO: the french gov't has informed interpol there is a french army deserter (who is a marksman)that could be loose in north america..could be a connection..

A crazy frenchman? That'd be a first. I would've figured it was another Timothy McVeigh. Well, lets just hope whomever it is they got in custody is the right guy.

took one man into custody..lets hope this is the guy..They captured 2 guys, that were "at the wrong place at the wrong time" and deported them to Latin America for Imagration Violations

There might not even be a letter at all. The cops might have made it up to make the sniper think someone else is trying to take credit for all his "work", get him jealous, and as such, make him sloppy, either by trying to pull off another shooting too soon or by actually contacting the authorities himself.

Yeah i just saw that on CNN too. How could something on the other side of the country have anything to do with it. I guess someone tipped them off about their neighboor or something. Hopefully it's some kind of clue.

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP)</b> - Police hunting the serial sniper issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for a 42-year-old man they believe has information about the string of terrifying shootings that have left 10 people dead in the Washington suburbs.

Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose said the man, John Allen Mohammed, should be considered "armed and dangerous" and that he was being sought on a federal weapons charge.
