I am not sure if I would buy Pathmark no frills brand cereal, but I usually have to buy batteries for my sound machine that I use at night, and I noticed King's Brand lasted about 50% longer and were half the price!

Anyone have any other "generic items" they noticed were better that can save me money?

Never been to Pathmark. But for clothes, Target has decent "no name" deals. Why fork over $65 for a button-down Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, when you can score it for $16.99 at Target?

See, the problem is that God gives men a brain and a penis, and only enough blood to run one at a time.

Yeah with drinks its all the same. Speaking of Wal-Mart, their Dr. Thunder tastes EXACTLY like Dr. Pepper. So go for the cheaper stuff if its the same.

Oh come on. Not EVERY knock off brand sucks, just some of them. I like the store brand for most things, but only use Duracell batteries. It's a give and take. Soda is totally what's on sale, who cares. Clothes are whatever. I actually like a cheaper potato chip somethimes. Store brand cereal and breads. Store brand for whatever I can.

As a general thing, I usually
buy generic for thinsg that
are going to be used up,
like food, detergent, aspirin,
etc.

Generic supermarket
honey-nut O's are good, but
different from cheerios.

I don't like to buy no-name,
cheap clothes, generally
speaking, because you can
totally tell. I bought a couple
of sweaters at Old Navy and
they are crap. On the other
hand for things like R&F
parties etc where I'm just
dressing up 'for fun' in
clothes I don't ordinarily
wear, I go to the sketchy
mall-ho stores. It really
depends, but mostly I'm just
not a big fan of synthetics in
my every day clothes.

ShopRite Iced Tea Mix rules! Its better than anything else out there and costs significantly less. Christ, Crystal Light is like $6

I also buy ShopRite paper towels...they can get expensive.

I drink water. Even cheaper than all that crappy soda.

And cartman, don't do that again. Either contribute to the conversation or don't post.
