I do totally. If it weren't for God I don't things would have turned out as good as they did for me. He is like a guide on my shoulders.

To answer this question seriously, I do believe that there is some power in the universe far greater than humanity.

I don't believe it's a giant Santa Claus type character that makes a list of who's naughty or nice, but I can't accept that life and all of its wonders are just some gigantic accident.

yea God is real, who put us on this earth? who made this earth, like someone said before, this cant just be one big accident, and all the stuff that has happened througout the ages, all the supernatrual things, miracles and stuff, somebody had to create the miracles and humans dont have that kind of power, but God does. I rest my case.
It is sad tho how America basically tells God to just leave us alone when he put us in America.

I'm sure you all know my view on "god." It's been discussed in many other posts.

In short god is a man made construct.

The universe is for all practical purposes infinite. With an infinite universe, not only are all things possible but they are a statistical certainty.

Until such time as anyone can demonstrate unequivocal scientific evidence of god, I choose to follow Ocam's Razor, the evidence, Aristotlian conceptualization of reality and common sense (and a very good understanding of the purposes of religon and how it's been used since recorded history to subjegate woman and the "heathen," marginilize other countries and as justification for murder.

Even if there was a god, he or she or they wouldn't be anyone/or group I'd want to worship.

So here I am god. I'm willing to take you on anytime you care to show your face down here. I wonder why he hasn't called? Perhaps his fingers are too big to punch in the numbers on the phone. Perhaps his cell is out of range. Or perhaps it's a crock of baloney. Still no lightning bolts. I'll keep you up to date and see you all Thursday.
