The Truth about the DC Caller........

Well folks, so far, the DC bretheren has fared OK on the Ron and Fez show call in wise. Mojo had a great oscar blurb and Ron laughed at my "playing on a highway ticket"

But there have been some oddballs, "Jackass is gonna win an oscar, gi gi gi" Disturbing none the less, but well learn, you ask why we arent starting at the top of the comedy pyramid, Two words, one conjuntion. Don and Mike.

I listend to a replay of Don and mike, and they did a "Make Rob laugh" (Rob Spewhack, the only hope that show has) segment, after 15 minutes, one person made Rob laugh, and they accidentally hung up on him, fuckers. But all the jokes were either racist or the setup was too long.

As far as i see it, Ron and Fez is a great way for the DC callers to get appreciated and joke around, but first we gotat break that Don and Mike "har har" comedy first. Mainly cause the lead in is all DnM fans, and there are a few people who are turning their radio on at 7 just for ron and fez, hopefully everyone will do that soon

Well get better, just let us catch up =)

First off let me say that Don and Mike are radio gods Im really sick of you guys bashing them. If you don't like them fine don't listen. Haven't you heard of if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? I could go around saying that O and A suck but I haven't, well recently anyways ;)

Secondly, Ron and Fez have been on WJFK live before. Way back when they were on live from 11pm-3am and many of us listened and got hooked then. So some of us are not new to the show. We get the humor.

Yeah, some of us. But there's a ton of new listeners who probably have never heard them before. R&F treat their callers unlike any other radio show: like the callers are actually an important part of the show. Stern and D&M haven't treated their callers like that in years, so it'll take a little getting used to.

DC callers have been pretty good. Piece of advice for them. Know what your going to say, say it fast and clear, say CYA. Hang the F up. Most of the posters here from DC are hysterical.

If I ever get real rich, I hope I'm not real mean to poor people, like I am now.

I dont know if any of the "DC Listeners" have noticed, but I have heard "Craig Coleman" AKA: "Lewis The Retard" of D&M fame, call R&F at least 2 times on the air. He always calls them "Ron and Fred" or something, and asks if they will hire him.

He is bad news. I hated him on the D&M show, and I still hate him as a caller. There was alot of "bad blood" that erupted between him and D&M... I just hope that it doesnt happen again with the R&F show..

Don't worry we will just have to wait it out. I dont think I will call anytime soon though , because I don't want to add to the bad DC caller list if I f up on the phone , or get on with a cheap joke.

I don't get it , yes RnF are live in DC , and now DC can call in...that doesn't mean that all of them should get on. The phone screeners need to critique the callers on how funny or how much they are needed , not to give them a break that they have been waiting for two years to get on the show again.

I didn't like D&M that much when they were on from 11-2. They just couldn't hold my interest. I catch them on my ride home(work in NY, live in south jersey). I get the feed from YSP and they have gotten much better. I think they were choking from the N.Y. pressure. Not as funny as O&A(when they were funny) but 10X more listenable than Leykis. It could have worked and Infinity were pussies for not trying it. Funny is funny, right?

Hmm... see I have a problem with that. Not that I dislike Don & Mike, but they... well, they bored the shit outta me. I think I just got disinterested when they were talking about... bowling teams or whatever. I dunno. If that's your thing, hey, enjoy but... I'll stick to RnF- and that's it. <P>
