expansion teams???? lol...okay someone clue him in. Anyway, MY DREAM HAS COME TRUE, not only did a team with a low payroll finally win the world series but they beat the yankees to boot, then the icing on the cake is barry bonds once again doesnt get a world series...TROY GLAUS FOR PREZ

They are not an expansion team, as mentioned on Fox 10,000 times tonight they have been around for 42 years. They used to be the California Angels.

Congrats to Anaheim and thankfully Bonds doesn't get the ring.

Back to back years without the Yankees winning the Wold Series! Could it get better than this? I think not. Well maybe the Mets winning it all but alas that is a pipe dream.

Amen, I hate those fucking things. They are unbelievably annoying. Yes, as anyone who has seen the movie "Mr. Baseball" can tell you, they have been using those damn things for many years in Japan, along with trumpets and air horns at the games.

I really wasnt interested in this World Series at all. If I had to pick I wouldve wanted the Giants to win, but oh well. Good for the Angels i guess.

BTW, Anaheim was an expansion team...like 40 years ago. I'm sure that's been established already though.

42 years = expansion team.... any team that came after the originals such as Yankees, Red Sox, Giants, Dodgers, etc I consider an expansion team... and I hate them.... you're thinking expansion simply means shitty teams like Tampa Bay and Florida.... no, no, I mean all shitty expansion teams.... like the Mets.....

okay LISTEN...an expansion team increases the size of the league...hence EXPANSION you cant be an expansion team if your just deciding to name your team after a city instead of the whole friggin state...plus they have been in anaheim for close to 5 years now...before that they were the californai angels and before that they were the L.A. Angels they are BY NO MEANS an expansion team

THEY ARE an expansion team because they were added to the league 42 years ago... just like the Mets are an expansion team.... many people still consider teams that have not been around since the beginning of the American and National leagues as expansion teams..... I never meant that just because they changed their name that they were an expansion team...
