God Damn Bravo!!

Can someone explain to me the point of Bravo running the Godfather 1 and 2 in successive weekends, yet edited for language and commercials? What is the point?

Why does broadcast TV take good movies and ruin them by airing them? ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, Bravo etc..Leave them the hell alone!!!! Stick to showing Disney movies and give me back the good movies uncut and the way they were released!
