Did you see MNF where the hometown refs made sure the Giants would not even get a chance to win the game against the overrated Eagles? The officiating job was so bad that I think there were payoffs involved.

One thing I noticed was when they were doing a measurement in the first quarter, the official moved the ball up about 3 inches so that is was across the marker. That was No Good. It did seem like the officials were anti-Giants last night. Only about 2 good calls the whole time.

C'mon dude, I'm a Giants fan and even I knew they didn't have a chance last night. I love my squad, but let's face it...red zone problems (nothing new there), defense gives up big plays. They're a six win team this year, if they win eight games it'll be a miracle.

oooo...nice head Jackie!

The officiating sucked just as bad as Sean Payton's play calling. Aside from the lousy work already mentioned, the taunting penalty against Shockey was ridiculous as well.

yeah dude that was bullshit. that's what made it so much worse, that the giants could have still won despite all those paid off calls.

that incomplete on ron dixon for the first down? are you fucking kidding me?

they still fucking blew it though, last year's season ended on the jurevicious fumble against the rams and this year's ended on that asshole into the endzone. i'm so fuckin heated.

Let's face it... The Giants don't have an offense. In particular, no running game. Tiki is not a every down RB. Ron Dayne is a huge bust. It just amazes me how well someone can play in college, then shit the bed in the NFL.

It might be too little too late but the Giants should let Jason Garrett give it a go at QB. In pre-season he was kinda nice especially with the long down the field throws. Oh and where the hell is Amani Toomer? If nothing else he caught TDs.

Lets not get out of hand here boys...There are 9 games left. The Giants are 2 behind Philly and play them again the last week of the season. So basically they need to play one only game better than the Eagles (don't worry about the rest of the division) over the next eight weeks, and it should be Giants-Eagles for the division at Giants stadium last week of the season.

Giants v. Eagles for the NFC crown are you kidding. Entering Week 9 the giants have 7 offensive touchdowns. They have no passing attack, Ike Hilliard is out for the year, and the shine is off Jeremy Shockey, Tiki Barber will go down with his usual hamstring problem in week 11 or so.
And go to Jason Garrett w/ the salary cap implications of Kerry Collins that move is unwise at best, and most of the blame is not with Kerry Collins--He and Trent Green have pretty much identical passing numbers other then Touchdowns.
And please dont give me the refs are screwing us so that we wont win, because the only fans who do that are the fans whose team is bad but they look for an excuse why their team loses

Oh, I didn't say the Giants will definitely stay competitve with the birds till the last week, I am just saying that it it too early to throw in the towel and start Garrett. I still think the Eagles are overrated and the Giants are not playing to their potential.

Fassel's going to be calling the plays now instead of Sean 'Dayne Up the Middle for 2' Payton. Hopefully that will be a step in the right direction.

Eagles ARE overrated now and the refs DID screw them w/o vaseline. That was their only loss that I blame on the refs. If the Giants lived up to their abilities they would be in first. At least we have the Nets.
