does anyone else love this magazine ? i've been a fan since 1975 (i still have all my old copies)
even though they now have ads, it doesn't matter.
there are a lot of great new artists getting in there now.

I used to read it all the time when I was a kid. I still have the original Jimmy Carter and Star Wars issues from 1977.

This magazine was great, I don't have any old copies, wish I did. Some of the best stuff in that mag was Spy vs. Spy and that picture on the back cover that folded to make a new picture. Do they still do that?

I picked up an issue a few months ago, after a long time of not reading it, and it just felt like I outgrew it, (and I collect action figures) It just felt like the jokes were all the same, especially the movie parodies.. "Look, we're making a movie and trying to <I>make money</I>with it, hyuck, hyuck..." and a lot of recycled "late show" jokes; you know, throw in a Rosie Odonnel reference completely out of left feild, like in a "lord of the rings" parody..

and spy v. spy is wierd in color...
