i came here expecting threads upon threads about this game. what happened? c'mon man. you play a guy voiced by ray liota, tom sizemore is your boss, dennis hopper the porno director, and jenna jameson the veteran pornstar, and to top it off you got a guy who looks like that coked up lawyer from carlito's way picking you up from the airport. what more do you want?

I, ah...I'm not much of a "word" person...

uh how about more time to play it, im just getting started in it, but beating the guy down with the golf club is killer. Plus the soundtracks are great...my only complaint the streets blend in to much w/ the sidewalks

I got it last night and have only had a few hours to play... the voice are awesome and the motorcycle is fun.

I've personally been beating down people with a hammer - I find that very very entertaining

So far this game is great! I've only completed about 7 or 8 missions so far...

The 'Demolition Man' mission kicked my ass about 8 or 9 times before I was able to complete it...(You have to fly a helicopter, pick up bombs and then place them in strategic points in the building to make it blow up...all while angry construction workers and security guards chase you down and shoot at you...not to mention controlling the helicopter is a major pain in the rear!)

Can't wait to see what happens next...

all the game stores at paramus park were sold out, and KB toys had alot of them!! i guess most people figured a kids store would not have it! i just finished the first hatian gang mission and am burnt out!

Rule to finding a game: go to a store that sells music (ie. Sam Goody) because some sell copies of games now too. I purchased mine on Oct 29 at Paramus Park at Sam Goody.

This game is going to cause me to lose my fucking job!!

everytime i'm really driving I keep thinking i'm in the game, and i have to calm myself!!

I've beaten about 10 - 15 missions already. I'm up to the Haitian lady mission, where I have to pik up different packages around the ghetto. It's almost impossible!!! Everytime I pick up a package I get a 4 star wanted level and fucking FBI agents come out from EVERYWHERE!! Have you seen them come sliding out of the Helicopter yet? Fucking insane!! You cant get into ANY vehicles cause before you can take off they blow the thing to pieces. It's insane!!!

I really need help with this mission, someone please help. Oh and if your advice is to use the "wanted level off" cheat, forget it. The only cheat I use is to get all weapons, only because i wanted to try them all out. There are SOOO many weapons in this game! I love it!

Im up to the point where i have finished every mission given to me, and beaten the Vercetti Mansion missions....I own the ice cream factory and now have to deliver the treats (read: drugs)
Plus i own the pole position club which has a girl basically dancing for you in a private room but no nudity....plus they have a real fat chick dancing for some bikers. Hilarious

Question: Why use the cheat codes/ Guide books to beat the game? The best part of the game is the open endedness of it, if i wanted to only know how to beat the game i would have saved the money and just bought the guide book its the same thing

Oh yeah btw it appears that rockstar put in some blocks that if you use any cheat codes then you wont be able to access some of the stuff in the game meaning no 100% finish...if you use the cheats you may not be able to ever use the helicopter, certain weapons, or not be able to buy certain property

I got it Oct. 30th. What a great f'n game! Im at 41% but I am nearly done with the mission aspect of the game.
I've spend 33hours and 42 minutes on that sumbith. Now I have new prioraties:

1. Vice City
2. Ronfez.net
3. School
4. Health
5. THERE IS NO F'N 5!

I havn't been talking about it all on here because I havn't got the time...inface Im going to go play it now. I just need the Malibu, Porn Director, and Kaufman cab missions done before I do the final three.

By the way it is a face that Miss Cleo does the voice of Auntie Poutlet the old Haitan.

the more i play it, the more i can say..IT FUCKING SUCKS!! the missions are stupid, the cars planes etc don't even handle normally and that driver mission is totaly unfair. fuck Rockstar!!!

Dude, just because you suck at the game don't trash it. Why don't you go and play Pokemon some more. I bet you can't even beat the first mission without cheats.

I'm finally on the last mission after 42 hours and 37 minutes. I haven't beaten it though...and I don't plan on it until I get 99% finished. I'm at 56 right now...

Since I have played the game I can give it a short little review (in case anyone still hasn't picked it up and is thinking about getting it)

Graphics: 7.8/10 The landscapes are beutiful, as well as the cars...Unfortunatly like GTA3, not many polygons were added into the faces of characters which you really notice during cut scenes (ESPECIALLY Sonny Ferilli in the last mission), also all of their fingers are always together and in a C shape like they are holding onto handlebars of the motorcycles THE WHOLE GAME.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10 Your possibilities are endless, it is probably the most interactive game I have ever played. Go anywhere, do anything Its YOUR game, and YOU are free to do whatever you want.

Length: 9/10 Sure with all the side missions and all the packages and such the game time really amounts up, unfortuantly buying real estate can make you have 6 even 7 bosses active at one time, GTA3 built up the plot almost one boss at a time, In Vice City some of the boss's are no where near connected with the main plot, that IS realistic but not always the best

OVERALL: 9.8/10 Simply just a masterpeice in its own world.
