Good, it will be a win-win situation with the Mets. If Mo loses weight, he will be a better fielder and probably better hitter. If he doesn't the Mets win terminate his contract leaving first base open for a quicker fielder.

Best news to come out of Shea since... well I can't remember that far back.

Unfortunately baseball has guaranteed contracts, so unless he shows up at around 400 lbs and is a total mess, I guess he's really not that far away, the Mets will be paying him the $20 million left on his contract.
